Sometimes, being tired is a good thing. When you’re tired your resistance drops, and it can free you from pushing through with all the shoulds on your list.
Like tonight. I really should get some writing done. Or more research in preparation for a finance meeting on Wed. night. Or … something! Declutter another shelf!
In reality: a few late nights on the weekend have caught up to me. Baby’s asleep, and I need to be too if I want the energy to get through the week.
I accept that I have limitations.
I choose to take care of myself – to be in my body and soul – rather than to keep too busy doing.
I accept that I have a lot of work to do, and that it will take a while to get to it.
I accept that I have limits.
I can’t wait to get to bed!
